To participate in the Tohoku Post-Disaster Support Tour, you must meet the following qualifications: - Adults who are of sound mental and physical health, and can take part in volunteer activities in or outdoors. Minors must have the written consent of their guardian. Minors (those under 20 years old) must also submit a form with the written consent of their guardian. Furthermore, depending on the volunteer activities and conditions, minors may not be able to participate in activities.
- Those who can participate in this tour according to the itinerary listed. You may not meet the tour in Tohoku or bring someone along by private car.
- Those who understand the purpose of this tour and the feelings of those affected by the disaster and are willing to conduct volunteer activities considerately.
- Those who are aware there is a chance of another disaster occurring in this area during their participation on this tour and assume responsibility for their own welfare.
- Those who have received permission from their families to volunteer in a disaster zone.
- Those who can work in a group and take responsibility for their own actions.
